Stock or custom rom? I can easily see how that would piss you right the off. My best friend has the Hero, and there were issues with the messaging app draining the battery. They got that fixed, but it took them a bit. |

i've tried it both ways, i currently have cynogen mod 3.9.10 on it with custom radio, but it's the same even stock
don't understand :( |

That really blows. My sister has the MyTouch3g, and doesn't have any issues. I wonder if it is a defective unit. Bas also has the G1, and I don't think he has had this issue. I would try to get it replaced under warranty if you can still. |

got this phone the time it came out, so what was it, either last christmas or 2 christmas' ago and my contract is over so i assume the warranty is as well. i want a new phone that can be heavily modded, however i'm out of the cellphone loop so i have no idea what current OS' have that capability outside of android |
