Armin & Gareth, despite playing shorter sets than were used to hearing, threw down amazing sets. The heat really made it tough to enjoy the night, so hopefully Skills considers utilizing more than just one room. While the production was good, I felt like it could have been better considering the fact that there was only one stage, but thats just my opinion.

And one more thing, I thought LA Ravers had no respect for themselves, but some of the things that I saw last night were disgusting.

I only saw Gareth's last 30 minutes, but honestly no one was better than Steve Aoki. He is just too good at getting the crowd moving and energized.

Yeah it was way too hot in the middle of the dance floor. Even when you went to the upper area to sit it was like an inferno at times.

What you talking bout? The worst thing I saw the whole night was a girl ODing, who body a pale blue, and her having seizures while throwing up on herself.

damn, yeah there was one point during the night where i saw a whole section of the floor cleared for the security & medical personel attending to someone on the ground and then as i was leaving i saw the organizers in the back room with the police frantically making phone calls, which seemed a little foreboding to me that something bad had happened...
while what happened was tragic, i hope it doesnt affect the scene negatively as this is exactly the kind of singular incident that the critics use to try to force tougher regulations and squash the nightlife for the %99 of us that follow the rules and cause no trouble whatsoever.
imo i thought the security was very good that night...

One person just ruined it for everyone.

Unless someone shoved the tainted drugs down his throat, I have no sympathy for people like that guy. If you're going to use drugs, fine, but at least be smart about it.

When massives are coming up, some pressers put garbage in their pills and slang them as the popular pills that are circulating. Supposedly, the bad pills that were circulating were laced with rat poison. I have a lot of friends that do their research on pills through pill reports, but they might not always be consistent. Not everyone can afford a test kit either. Its sad to hear things like this happening at these events. I hope the person the circulated this pill dies from their own product.

Production was 8/10 for what i expected. Gareth was predictable in a good way, he totally killed it, amazing set
I was surprised to hear Aoki because i didn't know that he screamed, When did that become part of electro?
Boys noize wasn't my stule, most the night wasn't...
Armin played a very unusual set compared to the other five or six times i saw him, lots of his old tracks, I know he said something about it being one of the biggest or best show in San Fran on his twitter
Palace Security was less aggressive than ussual
Got to see a lot of my friends, over all a great night, for me personally Armin saved the night

you can't pin the blame on the poor fool who happened to get the deadly tab (or had the deadly reaction to it) when there are thousands and thousands of people around him who are just as ignorant of their own high. 99% or more of the people there ingest pressed tablet drugs and none of them, none, know what the ingredients are--not even the night humans that peddle the junk. there is nothing smart about anything the high kids are doing there, let's get that straight. an adolescent high on narcotics at the peak of their synaptic plasticity is stupid period. what a cheap cop out to say the dead kid is ruining it for all the other crackheads. no if anything is to blame it is the entire rave culture, which has devolved into some excuse for children to experiment with narcotics under the auspices of plur.

It's not the end. There's been massives in Norcal since the early '90's. People used to die almost every weekend at Homebase etc in the late nineties from OD's. Sad, but they won't go away.

Eh, after hearing more on the situation, I guess I retract my previous statement. I'm not trying to blame the whole thing on one person, I just don't like the fact that events like this are so looked down upon because of individuals who make poor choices and end up ODing/Dying from not partying responsible.

I wish his family the best, and I hope, somehow they can get to the bottom of this.
