djokovic-tsonga should be good :)

Yeah, it's a pity. He hasn't quite hit the heady heights of 2008-early 2009 and he'll probably need to adjust his game to avoid further damage to the muscle around the knee, or at least keep off hard-courts for a while. It's difficult though because about 60% of the tour is played on that surface.

Murray was out-playing him anyway for most of the match, but the second set could have gone either way.

Bit of a shame, was shaping up to be classic.

knee injuries are so crucial in a sports player's career, especially those who's game depends solely on their speed. nadal's game will probably need to change a bit to not have complications with his knee. sharapova had to change her game because of her shoulder injury, and it's showing she's going through the pains and tribulations of the transition.

i was more intrigued by the aussie day fireworks than the murray-nadal match. :o

no just kidding, murray was playing out of his mind last night!

Too bad the Australian Open is played in Australia. The whole time zone thing ruins it for me.

federer looked out to sea in the first set against davydenko. turned it around in the second set. game on now.

Well they're not going to play it in Europe and still call it the Australian Open now are they...

I've tried watching but they never seem to try to hurdle the net to get into the contact phase of the sport. Hell UFC is hard enough to watch.

:wtf:

Seriously. :haha:

Anyway, looks to be a Murray/Federer final. Federer's probably going to take it unfortunately.

Unfortunately?!?!?!?! How can you possibly like Murray?

Because I'm sick of Federer winning majors?

I don't see how you can be sick of seeing one of the greatest athletes of all time play.

i'm a huge federer fan and thoroughly enjoyed watching federer work through davydenko's early onslaught. it's not like it's been always easy for federer in winning 15 majors.

he's the best player i've ever had the honor of working a match for.
