Did anyone catch Murray in his match against Cilic? Whoever wins the other semi (probably Federer) is up for a heavy battle!
Especially the point in the last game, at 15-15. YouTube "Best of Tennis" material :) |

The round the net shot from Murray from outside the tramlines?
That shot was pure genius, between the umpires chair and the net post.
For someone that's played 3 five set matches over the last week or so, Cilic put up one hell of a physical fight, and the match really turned with another miraculous point from Murray halfway through the second set. Up until that shot, he was plain awful. |

I only saw the last one and a half set. He was pretty awesome in those. But yeah, the fact that Cilic has had three B2B five set matches was an advantage for Murray. Maybe if they had met in, let's say, the first round, it could have gone either way. |

venus is mentally weak but saying the two of them haven't evolved and are fifty evolutions behind everyone else is absurd. between the two of them they hold 18 singles titles at majors, if they lacked tennis skills there is no way they could have come close to that number. they are strong but you don't get through a draw of 128 just by being strong and manage to do this over the course of almost a decade. |

I just got home from the match, it was ing awesome. Every time Cilic came to the net Murray just managed to hit it past him. As mentioned, that shot that went around the net was pure class.
The comedy doubles match afterwards was ing hilarious; not sure if they screened that outside of Australia though. |

I've only seen a match like that once, not in its entirety though. They should broadcast matches like that more often.
I believe it was with one Iranian or Indian type of fellow. Quite the joker he was. |

Zheng took the opening game, after which Henin won 12 games straight in a row.
Took her 51 minutes :) |

Yeah, that's the guy. He normally partners Henri Leconte (another tennis comedy legend). I overheard something about Pat Cash and Pat Rafter playing against Henri Leconte and someone else over the PA system after the Murray match. I don't think it was Behrami though :( |
