for me these cats due to there true love of our music & what you see is what you get. no sugar coated bull from them.....

JOHN OO FLEMING

well if you have something to say you just come out and say it. what's wrong with rants? conformist kumbaya forums are boring as . arguing difference of opinion is how people come to understand one another

ya i know it wasn't at the auralism party, that was jen's first time. that was probably the last person i played that cd for. i honestly can't remember when exactly, but i know that mix made a big comeback in 2007-early 2008 on harrison st when we were all doing shrooms every other weekend outside of 1015/endup.

i'm sure cassy was good at 222, i never disagreed with you on that since i wasn't there, i simply said she was boring the year before at kontrol. she had her moments, but overall the set went nowhere.

maybe in a different context fairmont would have been better for me, but i was expecting more along the lines of that youtube someone posted. it was still a really fun night, but the music wasn't the driving force behind that for me.

again i didn't say you said 'he was the only one with a unique sound' but others have. i like holden, i think he is true to his game, i just don't think he's done anything in a long time to be talked about as much as he has been recently here. and on the popular point of big djs and big promoters booking him, weak argument i know, but as an avid fan of underground music, i haven't seen his name on my radar at all outside of border community.
only time i recall hearing balance 005 with you was at the auralism party and when we took a long drive around sf, mostly in the sunset/daily city area, which was after the auralism party or few weeks after... def a shroom state lol

as for his name on your radar, quoting holden himself, "fuck ritchie hawtin, im not catering music for him" -- that may not be exactly what he said but its def along those lines esp the fuck part haha it was in a video interview. also did you see the new RA podcast? http://www.residentadvisor.net/podc...ode.aspx?id=191 :p

your right...fully right....unlike others on this board, not all of my silly & pointless opinions/views/rants need to be said to the public. ill do most of my bs in person to an individuals face!:disbelief

@ least you & few others keep this message board interesting. like soemone said ot me the other day...."dood ta is boring these days! we gotta do sumthin to spice it up."

& thats for you & others to keep it spiced. ;)

One time, I talked to Holden and I told him I recently saw Sasha, and he played his Britney Spears remix... and he was like " Sasha, he's a sell out" or something like that, but he did say the word "" lol :p

thread title is "Lets get a list of the classiest most true to the game dj's". that's all that was needed lol your holden rant on not doing anything the past 7 years belonged more in my holden thread than this one :p
