Don't get me wrong, I love a good political debate, I just find it super annoying when its the same view being expressed, over and over and over again.... |

I think it's a much bigger deal that the Mayor of Calgary says it's "not a priority" to ban the use of cell phones while driving, than UFC. IMO, legalizing UFC isn't a priority.
My 2 cents.

| Bring on the ing UFC to Toronto...What a douche - it will bring so much money here! Montreal was packed with people all over North America last year for the weekend, and I bet it really boosted their economy. Maybe, one day... |

I guess hes too busy banning things... i love how the leader of the opposition calls him "premier dad"!
Do they not realize how many people would come here for this from western new york alone?? Not to mention anywhere else thats starving for entertainment. Truly mcnanny banny is out of touch with reality. |
another failure to know ANYTHING about an issue. posting one article and ranting is so much easier though.
how about you take some time to research the history of this issue...and while you're doing so look up what the head of the provincial athletic commission (Ken Hayashi) has done (re: failed to do) to get MMA sanctioned here. |

Well first off, McGuinty will never see a vote out of this household....ever. This is just on par with his bull.
And as for Jay expresing his opinion on these boards, who gives a ???
If you dont like it DONT OPEN THE THREAD. Pretty ing simple.
Last time I checked this was a free country and everyone had the right to free speech regardless of their personal political ideology. As stated above, I too am happy to see Jay's threads its a bit of an eye opener, and stirs much debate. But if all your going to do is sit back and say, "here we go again" just ignore, because it really doesnt contribute to the thread, and in all honesty, do you think it would stop him from posting these threads anyways, I'm guessing no. |

bro sorry to break it to you, but your not howard stern...
you contribute nothing to this board except except consistently creating threads of copy/pasted stories that support your own political agenda.
we get it, your into politics. a lot of people on here are. but most don't see a need to rush to TA and post whichever article they just read over their morning coffee that supports their political beliefs. If everyone did what you did, this board would be a cluster. Its called etiquette. |
no one is asking you to read it... I manage to avoid the threads im not interested in ;) |

then express yours... lets hear it!
my views are mine and i express them. They have changed a little bit from debates on here as well. Instead of complaining about free speech, engage in it!! |

What the is wrong with the thread? Is it that difficult to just voice your opinion on the topic rather than commenting on his opinion?
I find it so amusing when people try to be the TA police and are actually arrogant enough to tell other people what they are ALLOWED to start threads about..:haha: :haha:
My two cents on the topic.. McGuinty and the Provincial Liberals...this province is so backwards that it's embarrassing. What is it that they are trying to protect us from? I'm so tired of being controlled by these morons. I'm sick of being legislated to act like a responsible person when I have the capacity to do that on my own.
MMA is a legitimate sport with legitimate earning potential for this city. It will come here. We just have to wait for Dana White to sweeten the pot for our moronic politicians. |

how about u tell us why you seem to be against it?
Im for it because of the tourist dollars it will bring. Its already sanctioned in most jusrisdictions. Would it really be that difficult to legalize it here? Please share your thoughts. |

Except he's not expressing HIS opinion, he's copy/pasting someone else's opinion, that supports his political agenda. We know already he's anti Mcguinty, why does he have to post every article on here that propagates this.

Its called etiquette. My favorite colour is red. I am entitled to that opinion under free speech. Should I make a thread about it? I also like skittles, how about a thread for that? Now what if everyone did this? This board would be a cluster. |
