It isn't mel's way.. sorry if it comes off that way.
I post ACTIVELY - look at my post count (what u see is unaccounted for.. if u search all posts by user - u will see how sad I am)
and I am saying this truly... truly truly.. so u guys can take a chill pill and not cry censorship. I haven't posted here much cuz I am busy in WMC section but I came on msn today with tons of messages about the drama here. lol
Swamper will post - maybe not today.. but he will give an answer.
If she does something then yes - I agree she should put it in the welcome to ny / info thread so everyone can see the rules. Bday events should be kept in events thread - write something like that is str8 and to the point... that way everyone will know for future reference.
Sadly - someone has to be the example (sorry it was ur bday thread) but hopefully - u guys can KINDA see it from Z's side too.xx |

Honestly - chill with the new thread button.
I def agree that interviews - no matter who - do not belong in a regional forum. It's sad if you guys can't see this from a non buddy-buddy standpoint.
and I think Z needs to start merging instead of locking. But I am not mod. That way it can shut people up.
My big problem is the interview thing.. the rest - u ppl find problems.. i'm trying to give u a solution from another local sections standpoint. |
idk why you keep getting hung up on this interview thread thing. Seems like thats what you keep coming back to. Thats the LEAST of the problems at this point. If interview threads HAVE to be in the music discussion forum, however lame it is, so be it. We'll get over it.
You keep neglecting all the rest of the complaints being made by EVERYONE else though.
You keep trying to convince everyone else that we are being babies and should do things Mel's way. There's a much simpler solution, and we all know it. The modding needs to be taken down a few notches... The answer is NOT for all of NYTA to change the way we've been doing things for years.
You obviously agree with complaints being made here, so I don't know why you keep insisting the problewm lies with all of us... |

People aren't crying censorship, it is censorship. If you haven't posted here then you would have missed threads that were there one second and disappear. It doesn't matter if you got messages about this, you are not in a position to sort it out regardless of your friendship with swamper. It seems to be clouding what you say and you respond as though you are his personal assistant. We already know he will respond, it is redundant to remind us. It seems like you run to him advocating against what people are saying here. I know euphoria's side and understood why. The birthday thread is not even what frustrates me and others. Pick a topic that does frustrate us- sports why should they be moved? From my perspective- a few months ago, Ravi was in NY and Man U was playing the next day. Because we both are Man U supporters and are local, we were able to make plans to watch at Sixth Ward. Fine, we never made it because the night before was a lot but my point is clear. People want local access for a reason. |

People want answers from him and I just happened to ask when he was going to post - he told me today or tomorrow.
Stop takig it out of context. I'm sure people may have wanted to be updated. Sorry if you didn't.
I don't run to swamper about any one of you guys. lol @ that. I have much better things to talk about and this is more like a laughing matter/joke anyways to me.
I dont know why the sports thing was moved so far away... I am not Z.. if she didn't write why then maybe she should. She could have just merged it. Or kept it.

I did not randomly bring it up.. Zack asked me about my thoughts earlier.
I dont know why you can't have sports threads - I don't know why Z moved it. Did she say why in another thread - I missed it.
So if you guys are okay with the interviews, okay with bdays as events... what else? Sports i will fight with u guys cuz I'm an NFL freak - but I also post whore in SD during football season :toothless |

It isn't the first time you did that. Every time there is an issue that is directed at him, you respond for him. I am not taking it out of context, that is the direct context from your responses. If you have better things to discuss, why are you responding? I am not asking for your advice on why it was moved, you seem to have an answer for everything as if you are responding for swamper so I wanted to hear your answer about that. No one is concerned about the birthday thread. None of the people, me, phonenixBEBE, or enigmaT have had an issue. What concerns me is the people having the actual event, I want them to be able to post the event as they would normally do.
Your final "anything else?" is as though you are trying to challenge me and/or be condescending. That is not going to resolve anything. It just makes you look childish. |

People want answers from a mod and no mod has come into play. I just mentioned why about Swamp cuz we were talking about it for 2 split seconds.. I just asked him if he was going to respond.. he said toady or tomorrow.. Nothing more. Z - I dunno where she is at but she did say she was going to stop answering your questions. (to be clear.. not YOU as in yumpop.. but as in NYTA)
I'm not responding for swamper - i have no clue what he is going to say. I just know he is going to say something. Which i didn't think was super obvious. Maybe it was to you. There have been discussions all over this forum where he didn't need to be involved.
The bday thread was a concern because someone else brought it up AS A CONCERN.
Anything else comment was meant for anyone - sorry if you are reading my tone in a different way. I'm not mad at you. Chill pill pls! |

| My suggestion to you is do not speak for swamper. I am not mad at you, your responses have set that tone. Just let them sort it out and when we hear what decision has been made, we will comment. To tell Zack people are being childish because they are not interested in your way or your opinion of how it should be handled was a little much. |
