oh man, tim burtons rendition of batman was my favorite to date. michael keaton, danny devito, kkk. i loved how he mixed fantasy with darkness, it was great, i could watch those over and over. they weren't great action films like the new ones are, but they are definitely much better in terms of atmosphere
also, james and the giant peach is the last cartooney thing i enjoy from burton |

Not to nitpik, but Tim Burton didn't direct James and the Giant Peach. An excellent movie all the same though. |
