sadly you may be right. We could fix things now if we still wanted. But that would require a lot of tough choices and debate which no one seems interested in. We need less regulation, fewer taxes and costs, and a vision to reshape our country for the future in order to compete with the rest of the world. Resting on our laurels and relying on borrowing is destroying our society. Problem is that most people wont realize this till its way too late. |

PS: when i refer to borrowing im talking mostly government borrowing.
I have no problem with smart debt such as that used for investment to create more wealth. But household consumer debt and government debt that is used to pay for one time expenses are whats driving us into the ground |

| All I have to say about this is that the title of this thread is misleading and rather stupid. Russia even hinting at the declaration of war on Canada hasn't been cited anywhere. This is simply diplomatic tit-for-tat at this point. |
