the country is not led by a stumbling drunk like yeltsin anymore, man who sold his oldest allies for a measly 4 billion $. Putin took the country from the gutters and completely reformed it and Medvedev (God bless him) is pulling all the right moves to establish Russia as a world power #1, again.
its gonna be interesting seeing how will this play out considering that china has spent more that 1/7th of its ENTIRE ECONOMIC OUTPUT buying usa debt over the course of the last 6-7 years !!

| as far as i understand it, russia has more rights to arctic than canada (based on international law) |

I wonder what that wonderful champion of the people, vladimir putin would say or do if i went to russia and declared the same thing about canada? What would the russian people say or do?
I know the russians themselves would be very hostile.
As far as putin goes, would i suddenly be poisoned by dioxin or radioactive tea? Perhaps id be shot outside my home?
Seriously why do canadians put up with this type of treason? |
