| The insurance industry down there is about to make alot more money very soon. Too bad there is barely any public option on this bill. |

its a bunch of in horse.. mandatory insurance? and its not paid for by the gov't? wtf? people are so retarded down here. they CAN'T seem to understand that the US spends more on health care per person than any other country and not everyone is even covered. ughh frustration is mounting ... |

Actually, the insurance companies are probably going to lose a lot of money because of this. They will now have to insure undesirable people and will have to pay out on more claims. |

My thoughts exactly.
They'll have to insure all of those with 'pre-existing' conditions. Doesn't seem like a win to the Insurance companie!

i think the US does need more comprehensive care. And Canada needs a private mix like they do in Europe.
Having said that, doing it at a time when there is already a trillion and a half dollar deficit is foolish to say the least.
Obama has never seen an expenditure he doesnt like and its bankrupting the US |

i read a shocking stat today.. last year 68% of all bankruptcies were related to health care, and of those 78% had insurance!
so yes, this is a big win for the avg American.. |
