Eitherway, Republicans or Democrats your only choice is to submit. Just lay down and take it. Right or Left, neither sides interests are for the best of yourself. They only are looking for the US, not you. It's not in me to simply submit and take what elitist politicians with no real-world business experience tell me is best for me. I'll go down fighting for what I believe in man.... which is to be left alone by government and be allowed to make my own way, fail or succeed. What's wrong with that?

If there's one thing I took away from my history class in junior year of HS, it's that democracy as the United States knows it is only a "theory" (for lack of a better term) and, since it has only been around for just over 200 years, isn't proven to be a working governmental system quite yet. |

first off, your avatar creeps me out... it looks exactly like some guy I do business with.
secondly, yeah a "true" democracy would be doing whatever the majority wants on everything which could easily spiral into mob rule. having 3 separate and equal (at least theoretically) branches of government power and all the checks & balances in our system is the reason it's lasted this long. |
