House room wasn't recorded, only the trance room.

Well, well, well ... this was a pretty good BeB. Musically, not as good as other years, but still alot of fun.

I actually like Etienne's set and Morales the most of the whole night.

LMFAO are crap. I felt like I was watching an ugly looking boy band, with their badly choreographed dance moves, horrible songs, and all around lameness. Just absolute e. Thank god it was only an hour or so.

Romero was pretty good, but I prefered what Etienne was playing.

Guetta, well he had me for the first hour, but the electro got to be too much. It was like he would play all of the commerical you would expect from him, but electro-ish remixes. In my opinion, it was not house music.

I was really looking forward to Kaskade the most because I have always been a fan of his productions, but he was a big dissapointment for me. I heard a few killer tracks in his 2 hour set, but the majority of it sounded like fluffy trance. We got so fed up with him, we went to experience Corsten in the other room. And what he was playing was way more housey than Kaskade.

Came back to the House room for Ana Paula, and thats when the house room got really gay lol ... actually, the house room kind of divided up, a la stereo, with the gays mostly on the left hand side and the str8 folk on the right hand side. Ana Paula is certainly not a technically great dj, but she was playing some great music ..better than last year.

Morales was a nice way to finish off the morning. He got shirtless within a half hour and started to give us his MoMo classics at 10:30. Had to leave at 11:00, but I heard his last hour was great too!!!

Wish I had the time, energy and money to stay and see Calderone later that day.

Overall, the place was packed with beautiful people (guys and girls), i loved that they moved the smoking section to the back entrance on the main floor (instead of up 4 flights of stairs and escalators to the roof like previous years), I saw nobody OD like I have in previous years, and the sketch factor was minimal (at least in the sections I was in), and big +++ to having actual printed tickets. I was in within 20 minutes with a regular ticket (no VIP), whereas friends with printed online tickets waited 1.5 hours.

For future years, no more Guetta, never LMFAO or whatever the flavor of the month is in 2011, bring back some real house music please ... Tenaglia, Calderone, Vibe would be awesome.

:)
oh, and musically, Saturday at Stereo with Angel was insane ...old classic house mixed with a fresh new twist (heavy bass and upbeat dancey house tunes) ... that was a fun party too!!!

Before I say what I want to say, I just want to apologize in advance if I offend the people concerned. The girls who announced the DJs at BeB (I think it's the same one(s) that were there at Resolution) sound like complete idiots. Screaming out the name of the DJs like total dumb s, total turn off. BeB, learn something from ID&T and get yourself a real Master of Ceremony, someone who can truly establish anticipation and excitement in the crowd. Last thing I want to hear at 7am is a bunch of girls that sound like they just got back from Mardi Gras. Again, if the announcer is a MTLTA, sorry! Better luck next time, hon'!

Its agressive for my ears even in the mp3 file for the Markus Schulz set

ahah It's so commercial. Black N Blue & Bal En Blanc, please stop announcing djs, we're not in a club. You can just show it on the screen. Use the technology for it. Let people having fun and not scare them with a loud annoying voice by girls! People go at your party, just because of those djs, so they know them and just wait to see them and cry as a baby! At least, use a nice sexy voice recorded in advance and fit it in the track, like Essential mix do on their show.

+10

TRUTH, i am a huge markus fan and had high hopes for his performance at BeB and he truly went above and beyond anything i could have expected or hoped for, the best set i have ever heard from him! I mean to transition from dark hard techno,to banging progessive, and then blow the roof off trance is something to be admired. He is a beast on a mission and I cannot wait to see him again in NYC in may.
