How appropriate...A story on CNN: A good Samaritan was stabbed after he helped a robbery victim. No one stopped to help him and he died from his wounds.
This is honestly disgusting. Not only do people just ignore the man, but people actually stop and stare, turn him over and see his wounds, and ...TAKE A PICTURE WITH THEIR PHONE! Yet, NO ONE calls 911. I'm shocked, appalled, and utterly disgusted by this behaviour.

No worries, we are slowly killing ourselves. And everything around us. We are becoming more and more self-concerned and self-serving. The video is quite shocking - I read the article before, but I didnt read the fine print which said that people actually took pics of the dying man on their cell phone cameras. Thats utterly pathetic. I thought that kind of treatment and ignorance is only possible on the streets of Moscow (and Russia) - I guess I was wrong. There was a famous case in Moscow a few years back of a half-naked dead man lying on the dirty street and people are walking by and not even noticing him. And in this case - even the initial victim, the woman ran away!!!! :disbelief
