| i agree this she he person is way too commercialized and the album he came out with sucks ass big time. castle's in the sky is annoying and will I is just plain cheesy. the local dj here recycles "will I" like 3 times in one night. pathetic |

Ian Van Dahl is two guys, I believe one of them is/was involved with Absolom. I had a web page explaining the whole thing but can't find it anymore :(
The music is terrible, I have only ever rated the Wippenberg Remix of Castles In The Sky because it gave me a great feeling when I heard it live. All the originals are a load of teenie euro-trance cheese and blatantly made for radio play rather than getting radio play because they're so good. |

Im really like the music he produces. I think the production is tight and the ideas fresh. im not going to be swayed by the fact that its played 15 times a day on national radio coz i dont listen to daytime radio. and i couldnt give two f***s about whether some kid is singing it in the street. I feel proud that he is representing one aspect of trance to the masses as it has allowed a gateway for other stuff to come through.
trance like this inspires new talent in trance just by being heard all around the world in a way only commercial tracks can do...:D |
