The job is Bilingual End of Term Collector / Recovery Specialist or whatever fancy name you wanna use. It's a collections job, grueling. But still rewarding. I'm on a 6 month contract. Greener pastures after that hopefully.
Hope you're well. :) | yeah that's always tough work (never done it) but i can imagine. good luck with that!

I just finished an estimated 8-hour assignment in 2.5 hours, which means that I made $150 in 2.5 hours, which means that I worked at a rate of $60/hour.

| Oh also I stopped in with dumb bimbos and raised my standards, started to deal with girls with more substance and who are a lot smarter. Its working out for me and chicks no longer stress me out. Well I take that back.. They stress me out less. |

I'm back in sales with specific category & channel responsibility as well as having marketing responsibility for the total channel. The team I am working on is awesome and my category business is almost managing itself at this point. Anything I do from now 'til the end of the year should be incremental. So, that should leave me plenty of time to focus on the marketing which, at this point, should be a lot of .com stuff. I can't wait to start incorporating my photoch0ps into some of the brand marketing! :gsmile:
P.S. - Did you see my PM? |

I went out once in the past year (which was the re-opening of Stereo Afterhours)... So no, not really. :sadgreen:
The "new me" is no fun at all, I've been sedated. The party animal is dormant until further notice.
What about you? Update me. |

in the last year ... let's see
-Getting a well paid internship working on brain-inspired artificial intelligence in a small team of really impressive/successful/smart/curious/cool people.
-getting into MIT's EECS master's program.
-Spending some of the best 6-7 months of my life with an awesome girl. Realizing that it was the first time I really took initiative to make something like that happen. Partially getting over her is sort of an accomplishment. I'm working on it. Or maybe I'm not.
-Generally being more proactive about communicating and speaking my mind and strengthening my relationships with people. I tend to think too much and do/say too little. Sometimes I need to turn my brain off.
an interesting year overall :) |
