| I've been saying it since the group draw a few months back, if England beats the US I'm going to be very surprised. Once Oneywu got injured, and it was pretty much confirmed that Charlie Davies wouldn't be fit enough for the World Cup...I knew our team would have problems, especially at the back. Stevie G broke though and scored in 4 mins? Yikes. The hardest bit, for now, is over. Looking forward to the rest of the tourney, not bad form for the Yanks :D |

Now thats out of the way :toothless I am also really excited to watch Spain: Fernando Torres, Xavi, David Villa, Iker Casillas, Inesta etc..... They are STACKED!!!:eyes: :eyes:

| The Germans looked really good yesterday, as did Argentina. The Italians recovered from an unimpressive start, and looked really good the last 30 min of the match. Im thinking the Netherlands will be a bit of a surprise. |

Germany played very well yesterday, but I think the loss of Michael Ballack and Rene Adler (both injured) really hurt their chances of winning the cup. |

Spain is due to win the cup.
And they def. have the talent to win it this year.
The Netherlands also have the talent to make a deep run this year. |

The 1 and 2 seeds from Groups G and H play each other in the first game of the second stage.
Spain may exit early if,
(1) Spain gets 1st in group H, Brazil gets 2nd in group G
(2) Spain gets 2nd in group H, Brazil gets 1st in group G |

Doubtful. Brasil poses little threat to La Roja. |
