The second half of Homework is rubbish. The second half of Discovery is boring. Almost everything on Human After All is crap. So when you scrape together their career you get an hour of good music, called Alive 2007.
I do still like them, but they really are massively overrated.

i would love a alive 2007 without crowd. i hate the crowd. alive 1997 is better that way but very messy lol. homework has some cool tracks on it, and the musique (best of) is nice. especially musique track is awesome, probably their best imo. not overrated though, i only know one person who like them.

also revolution 909 was really really good (but the original -- I still have yet to find the pirate version I heard around 96 the daft punk version was light compared to the pirate.

alive 2007 is much trancier than all their previous stuff --- they have been progresing from tech house to trance - so I think if they keep doing stuff they will evolve into a full blown trance act. but maybe not.
