@ $2.49, that track is sure horrible. Maybe he's trying to prove the industry is a sham?

| just not a small bit he used there... not even like he sampled and replayed his own bassline. other than auto panning on the end of the loop i don't think he touched anything? |

What a douche! Simply no excuse -- especially for someone with success and a studio like his.
Does no one actually want to compose dance music anymore...
just pathetic. |

Yeah, if all you have to do for a Beatport number one hit is to copy and paste a Vengeance loop, add a simple breakdown, and release it, why not do it?
I bet Angello is laughing like crazy over this. |

So, first we slag off Vengeance for reselling artists work in their libraries, now we slag of artists who use original Mathias loops? :D
One can never do the right thing here.

Manuel schleis has been known to do productions with axwell and im sure, in this instance, is aware of what is going on. The track sounds like crap but regardless this is a boost for Scheils as it will draw more popularity to his VST's. Heck i didnt even know who the hell schleis was until now. You guys should all give yourselves a nice pat on the back for promoting him.
I think a greater obscenity would have been his uncredited sampling of Human Leagues 1984 hit "don't you want me baby" in his track Voices which had that eric prydz mix. There is no profitable gain to human league from that track, and clearly the reason for its popularity is that sampled intro hook.
anyways. I've said it once and ill say it again. I think all music producers should credit their work with a bibliography. Just like any literature, uncredited sampling is plagiarism. |
