Was just gonna say. It isn't a bad remix.
Just read this thread for the first time. First off, first time I heard this tune was when Angello played it @ Avalon....Angello sent it to other big DJ's. Heard Laidback Luke add it in a mix and Guetta play it @ F Me I'm Famous party during WMC. At first, he used one of his aliases Mescal Kid.
I was under the impression he would never release it and just use it himself and send it to other DJ's.
Personally, I like the track, puts a smile on my face whenever I hear it. Guess it gives me WMC flashbacks.
Dunno what all the drama is about, however guess you gotta let the haters hate when you have the #1 Beatport track. |

i put this in the producers section for a reason, i'm not hating on the track, i'm hating on the lack of creativity behind the writing/production of the track because he didn't write it. someone else wrote it, sold it on a sample site and then steve angello basically resold it as his own work on beatport.
i have no qualms about sampling, i do it a lot but this is at a whole new level. |

I don't think anyone is upset about him having the number one track. What they are upset about is the idea that he took a loop straight out of a sample CD and published it pretty much as is as the entire track. It would be one thing if the loop was cut up, or used as a supporting element, or used in combination with other original elements, but the entire track is just that one loop, unaltered. There is practically zero original material other than a few filter tricks.
In addition, if you or I or anyone who's name isn't Steve Angello did the same thing we certainly would not have had the #1 track on Beatport or anywhere else, and probably would not have been able to get it put out by any respectable label. Hell, we'd probably get sued all to hell like the guy that got sued by Deadmau5's publishing company for using that Faxing Berlin sample.
Frankly, I don't get how any respectable producer wouldn't be upset by something like this. |

Mainly because Deadmau5 is one of the creepiest s of all the producers out there... Looks like this bitch called Steve Angello isnt very far behind though, him and Guetta is fighting for second place... |

I'm with Eric j & DJAnthonyross. We arent immature kids hating on here, far from it. As already mentioned its the way the track was made from a producer probably at the highest point of his career to date. Its more of a disappointment like did he really need to do it? Especially with a string of other great tarcks under his belt. Sure the track isnt bad and it works, I dont mind it but it puts him in bad light. To be honest its a very small percentage of people and fans that will ever know about it (mainly producers, not clubbers the majority) and who knows it could of been done with his other tracks, but still not good to release it.
I'm sure its been done by other well known producers but know one has picked up on the loop used. |

| Its crazy how someone with a big name like Steve Angello would release this. Maybe its done as a joke to get back at Vengeance for them doing the same thing to him? I have heard loads of sounds included in Vengeance packs that are taken straight from his older tracks. They are both as bad as each other! |
