| Probably was asked before but, can you run in the rain in the Vibram Five Fingers? |

Don't see the point in them at all. Natural athletes tend to toe-strike anyway, and you can easily learn to do it in conventional trainers.
Seems to me this is just a gimmicky product. |
Before making the switch to the Vibrams, I started practicing the style in regular flats and I can say the biggest differences come from the separation of the big toe from the rest of the toes, and the extreme thinness of the bottom of the Vibrams. Honestly, you could probably just skin up a pair of tabis with the Vibram rubber and get the same effect. While I do love my pair, I still plan on trying the huarache running sandals once they wear out, just to explore all my options. Gimmicky? Maybe, but definitely a different experience from track flats.

I think shoes/boots are evil.
While in the Marines wearing my combat boots, I've rolled my ankle twice, and once wearing $120 cross trainers playing racquetball.
Last Monday I rolled it again during Insanity wearing my $100 pumas. I say shoes! I've been doing Insanity (HIIT) barefoot this whole week and love it. I noticed my calves have been significantly sore since going barefoot.
I've tried purposely to roll my ankle barefoot and it's not possible, so shoes can lick my .
I'm going to get a pair of these for sure.
Edit: They're out of stock.:whip: |

I second this. I rolled my ankle last night playing soccer in my turf shoes. Once your weight goes over the side of the shoe and your sole tips over its edge, you're ed. I've had multiple close calls in the exact same manner before. I hesitate to say it's impossible to roll your ankle in the same way while barefoot or wearing vibrams, but it's sure as a lot harder.
shoes. I love my vibrams. |

| The problem with using these thingies to run barefoot is that cavemen didn't run on concrete. That's why we need supportive shoes these days... |
