agreed. in response to my question regarding death threats he said that he doesnt feel sorry for her and should have known the consequences. Id say thats a pretty good endorsement of the death threats, not vague at all.

Enough of the debate: I will ask hardcore trancer the same question again. Please answer with a yes or a no

do you honestly believe that someone deserves to die for posting a picture?

OFCOURSE NOT but that still doesn't excuse what she did. She has to be made an example of (getting fired, court-martialed, whatever), so this doesn't happen in the future.

and try listening to a moderate muslim who has great pride in his religion and his people rather than those stupid fundamentalists.

LOL ok to clarify for Jay, all Iam saying is that her of all people who is from Israel and lives side by sides with the Muslims should have known better not to post those retarded pitures to piss them off.
Did she not know about the whole cartoonist situation in the past? The muslims take these matters very seriously weather we like it or not and yes they would even kill peopel for that so why in the hell would you put yourself in that situation? again the conclusion is that now she will have to face the consequences whatever they may be. do I support her dying for this? no but that is one of the consequences.

So should the cartoonist have known better? Should anyone ever be afraid to speak their mind about anything? Thats a very dangerous sentiment to have.

You say that you dont support her death but somehow i dont think you are against it either.

The only right you dont have when it comes to freedom of speech is the right to not be offended.

Death threats against her, the cartoonist or anyone else who has a difference of opinion is wrong and barbaric, plain and simple whether you or i agree with what they have done or said.

I feel the same way about the cartoonist as i do about jew hater ernst zundel btw. I think both people are antagonists but i support their right to say what they want. And i support the right to oppose it as well (but not with intimidation or threats)

For the last time, he's not saying he supports it or that it's right BUT is it surprising given what has happened in the past that kind of reaction??

NO.

Hence the woman in the pic maybe should have been a bit more professional ? Maybe?

I was using the cartoonist as an example dude. This issue has nothing do to with freedom speach, taking pictures with a Palestinian prisoners in the background is a political statement and she knew it too.

It is not me the she has to worry about Jay, it is the extremists out there that will use this as a reason to do their agenda. What was her opinin exactly when she took those pictures? what was her motive? "hey look at me trying to make these people like a bunch of animals"

We are not talking about something that happend here in Canada. This is the middle east, very different situaion and different atmosphere and the people there are very sensetive. What makes this matter even more sad is that she still doesnt believe she did nothing wrong.

I agree but again after all the killings and bombings in the past your would think people would know better not to provoke.

At least those people are trying to cross a point. What is her point exctly? what message or opinion is she trying to send?
