A few questions about the fast cold cans:
-How much is a cup? Two cups sound like a lot.
-"Cover with ice", as in put a ton of ice cubes in the pot, or what? |

I might give some of those a try, like the lift one for example, hopefully it's not bull!
Others I do anyway, like the playlist one, leaving things to remember next to your keys.....and I actually worked out a while ago that work paid me approximately £1,500 a year just to go to the toilet. Score. |

the amount of salt you use all depends on the container (obviously 2 cups of salt in a huge cooler doesn't work the same as 2 cups in a smaller bowl). the whole point of this is to put enough salt and water along with the ice to get the water to freezing temperatures, but without letting it turn into ice. that way, the entire can/bottle is completely covered in ice-cold water, versus using just ice (where the can will have gaps of air against it in between ice cubes).
i'd say to use enough water/ice to allow the can to be completely submerged. |

Well, when you're in a rush to leave, there's someone sleeping in the house, and you want to give them some extra protection?
This is the only context I can think of right now. Besides doing it to pull a prank :p |
