Watched Sleepers the other night, had seen it long time. Such a good movie!

I don't know if anyone mentioned it, but The Mechanic which is out
on DVD right now was a pretty good entertaining movie.

I also enjoyed Limitless, I wouldn't say OMG amazing but I definitely thought it was good.

I just got back from seeing "Drive"

The cinematography was superb and the score that was done for the movie was amazing. All I can say is, this movie is not for everyone.

agree with you on the cinematography and music. both of these aspects of the film were done in the same vein of Heat but not exactly ripping it off. I love Cliff Martinez's music work and this soundtrack was as electronic as ever. I especially liked the ambient stuff he had in it.

Finally saw Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes last night, was such a good movie! Even with all the hype, which usually makes me expect too much from a movie, it was great!

Just downloaded The Mechanic, looking forward to seeing that now too...

Saw WARRIOR last night, amazing movie... best of 2011 so far!

I liked Drive, it does look great, and Ryan Gosling is excellent. Did anyone else have a problem with the amount of overdone dramatic pauses though? I'm no cinematic analyst, but it really stood out as an obstacle for my enjoyment.

Drive was great, I'm the only person out of anyone I've talked to so far that has liked it..

I think those awkward pauses just added to the character, he was generally a pretty quiet/awkward guy.

That is one of the things I liked about the movie. Less is more, plus many people in the world are like him; reserved and speak a few words.

During the movie, I was thinking of Rubicon (AMC). Seeing it was quite similar, character wise.
