Cloverfield was alright. I liked that you didn't see the monster really, and I liked the idea behind the handycam so that you only see bits and pieces. I can't take handycam for an hour and a half though. It makes me want to puke.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with the second one.

NO!! I wish I didn't waste my time seeing the first one. I should have known Michael Bay would ruin Transformers. Barf.

+1

I have really hated the transformer movies. I can't stand the way they make the transformers look and the story lines have been crap.

Going to watch this later on. Only time it was in the cinema... was at TIFF last year.

Just finished watching this. It's such a powerful movie. I cried throughout most of it.

Cowboys and aliens blew chunks!! It was pretty lame, jokes were sad...I thought it was going to be more serious and not as corny/cheesy.

Friends with benefits was OK at best. They tried too hard and ended up making it overly cliché and I was especially disappointed with Mila Kunis' performance...she was a lot hotter in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Black Swan. JT is a ing deuche bag.

X-Men first class was super duper good.

Are her looks all that make up her performance? :p

lol :tongue3

I preferred her roles in previous movies better. She was 'too good to be true' in most cases in this movie lol.

But ya she's definitely eye candy!!

CvsA was okay. It started out really good though. I liked how Daniel Craig barely even spoke and his facial expressions did the acting for him. Paul Dano was really good as well. But Olivia Wilde is nothing more than eye candy and I really didn't care about her at all, Harrison Ford hams it up way too much. His acting is mediocre. The whole story becomes sorta bland near the end, I just stopped caring when they start really dealing with the Aliens.

If anyone hasn't seen it yet, then watch Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Easily the best movie of the summer this far, I was surprised as to how much I got into it. It helps that they show the humans as one dimensional scumbags for the most part so that you easily root for the apes.
