Ya I noticed the battery thing too! I wouldn't say Oscar worthy, but I thought it was good. Better than I thought it would be at least. The last time I saw a movie where a man was stuck in a box (i.e. Phonebooth), it sucked hard.

I liked and hated the end of Buried at the same time - but def a great movie. And def another one snubbed by the Oscars..

I really liked it. Didn't get nearly enough press.

I saw Hanna last Friday and it was pretty good. I think it could have been better, but was still pretty good.

LET ME IN

Based on teh Sweedish movie LET THE RIGTH ONE IN, it's an American remaking of it directed by Matt Reeves.

The movie is based on the book of the same name (Let the Right One In) by swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist.

I havent read the book yet (been on my list for abt a year and a half now), but hope to by the end of October. It's next after I finally finish reading Anthony & Cleopatra.

Its essentially more of a Stephen King, horror-esque take on a story that involves a vampire. Very dark and creepier and intense. (Note: it originally came out in 2004 in Sweden, so it predates Twlight, lol)

cool will check this out. :)

I've also rented a bunch, but the names escape me. :whip: There was one really good one that I would have recommended as well. I'll have to do some thinking!

I remembered which one it is!

Across the Line: The Exodus of Charlie Wright - Great movie! The story kept you wondering what would happen until the end. Plus, Luke Goss is unbelievably nice to look at!

Paranormal Activity 2

I was super pumped for the first one and saw it in theatres. I was very disappointed, however. I found it slow moving and not scary in the least. Plus, I find movies filmed all in handy cam really hard to watch. When I heard there was going to be a second one, I was skeptical and decided to wait until it came out on video. I kind of wish I didn't now. It's leaps and bounds better than the first one. A lot more action and story, and a lot scarier! I have yet to see the alternate ending to the 1st one.

I guess there's a 3rd one coming out in October.

Buried is super boring and uninteresting.
