you commented on ratios on the guetta and kaskade shows prior to those events, sounds like this is very important to you(i thought it would be the music, but i digress.)
if its all about the ratio, you're going to be dissapointed unless it's a handful of dj's at certain venues.
When it comes to EDM, stick to vegas and miami pool parties with house dj's and you'll be ok.

Amazing show!! The line to get inside was actually not bad at all...Palladium was very organized this time!!
Super8/Tab was a blur to me too since they were last and i ran out of energy after A&B...so tired i just sat through it wasn't able to enjoy their set to its fullest. Maybe next time... |

the music is still #1 priority, the only house event ive been to is guetta/kaskade at palladium.
a good ratio is just icing on the cake.

like always, the event was not oversold so plenty of room to do whatever..but it did seem more of a 'rave' than guetta/kaskade.
i thought cosmic gates set was a little too mellow..is this how they usually play in the first time i've seen them.also wished that they played the markus schulz remix of the drums..great large venue tune.
above and beyond started very dreamy at first but eventually they were putting some hard tracks down. s8&t was a blur to me, but i'm glad they played perception. |

great night of music. security was smooth n easy, they told me i couldnt bring in lights and i hadda take it back to the car...i just asked if i could just keep it in my bag n i wont take it out, which they agreed upon lol, of course i brought that out. anyway, cosmic gate ripped it! kinda weird they played both remixes of back to earth...and didnt play let go (nic chagall remix) but had a&b open with it instead. personally, i was waiting for "not enough time" or "find yourself" the whole time...sad they didnt play it, and finally got listen to exploration of space live! praise the lord!
a&b great set, through down some sick mashups, and had some great choons throughout the set. my song of the night from them was probably Satellite. that or home were the two songs i wanted to hear from them the most. Longest Road to Sundown mashup blew my mind! they put on one hell of a show.
super8 & tab kept the energy flowing. opened up with my enemy and empire. songs of the night for me were their remix of perception and the andy moor remix of these shoulders. they also played a song a&b already played, their remix of can't sleep which kinda bugged me out..dont like listening to the same song twice in one night. no black is the new yellow or irufushi?! i was expecting them to at least, AT LEAST close with elektra...nope. sorry if im living in the past and expecting to hear their old hits, im just like that hahha.
i hadda amazing time though..my last gripe would probably be the f*ckin security. I hadda drawstring nike bag on and the security came up to me saying hey come with us to the back..im like wtf did i do?! i was reaching into my pocket for some vicks. they were like come to the back if u didnt do anything then...i thought holy crap im about to get kicked out, searched or something. they bring me to the backroom where theres cops up the ass and search my bag, my camera bag, threw away my laser pointer batteries, took off my shoes, and patted me down hardcore. they coulda easily went up to anyone and done that, wonder how many ppl they did that to. apparently they were like oh yeah a guy with a nike drawstring bag was selling E...im like wtf hella ppl have nike bags...ahhhh im like u guys arent going to come up to me again and cop a feel right? so yeah...things luckily went smoothly and i was able to enjoy the rest of the night... |

yeah probable cause, whatever...they coulda said anything to anyone and woulda been able to pull them into the back. but in reality, i did have a lil stuff on me, wasnt for anyone else but me though..i hadda toss it very slickly...thank god! there was a guy in there who was getting booked for having one pill lol.
anyone else get annoyed of the strobe lights/productions? i thought it was a lil too much/bright. my camera couldnt even handle the brightness. |

that's the thing..everyone in there probably has something on 'em..the whole mentality is once your in, unless you make it obvious that you're doing something wrong..you're home free, but throwing people in a room and checking them because of 'probable' cause throws that out the window.
