Are you serious? Those systems are insane, if you cant hear all the beats on those systems then you cant hear it on any system Maybe youre friends got too close and the bass took over.
Beats yes, the bass may be great, but even on a good system a lot of the details of music are lost, so when you hear it later it sounds even better

Ok, so my thoughts on the night:
It was incredible. All of the sets were great, Above & Beyond played a lot of dreamy-style tracks (which I love), Cosmic Gate played Exploration of Space (wooo!), and the overall vibe, visuals, and such were amazing. One of my favorite nights of trance ever.
The only negatives are that it was too loud (not much clarity in the speakers), and there was nowhere to sit except the ground. I quickly snagged a napkin when I got there and made some makeshift earplugs, though, which made it much better.
The crowd was great. A nice mix of older clubbers, ravers, and younger shuffle kids. Everybody seemed to be having a great time.
All in all, a fantastic night. :)
edit: And those TATW350 t-shirts sold out FAST. I got in before 9pm and they were already sold out. :/

what was your favourite moment?

My favorite moments were definitely the last track and From the Earth, but I also liked the way this vid turned out. Visuals were nice and everyone was into the Mat Zo track.

Thanks for the videos. I'm going through them all right now. Especially happy you got the Bittersweet Symphony track. I must find it. And you got SunMoon too. Awesome.
I think events like TATW350 are extremely special because you actually have a majority of the people there for the music. In large part you really need to appreciate trance and the artists to attend something of this nature. I would venture you have less waste cases and no 15 year olds.
From watching the videos I really enjoyed A&B's crowd interaction with the writing. "Life is made up of small moments like these" I don't know why but for some reason this statement just had a profound reaction on me tonight. And funny enough the same thing happened to me at EDC.
Let you guys know how A&B are at the Warehouse project the 26th!

Events like this demonstrate why until now, TRANCE is still supreme. Haterz, flame away.

I have sensitive ears and I wore ER-20 earplugs all night, occasionally putting my hand over my ears when the sound became intolerable. The ringing during the drive home and the day after was the worst I've had in the past year.
Perhaps I should have left the main floor more often to give my ears a rest, but there is no reason why the speakers needed to be so loud. If they reduced the volume by 5 db people still would have had just as much fun.
If someone was able to make it though the whole night without earplugs, his or her ears are pretty damaged already.

One of the best parties of my life, especially as a huge Anjunabeats and A&B fan, who have always been my #1 fav producers not too long after I discovered them.
They didn't allow lights, and although I asked if I could just keep them in my pocket so I didn't have to walk back to my motel, they said no. I ended up walking back, stuffing them in my pockets, and after seeing a few people with them, did use them a handful of times.
Sound was not that bad for me at the middle under the ball, later the night, we moved to the back of the dance floor above the stairs.
Like someone else, my biggest and only peeve was the number of people smoking, including some obvious drug dealer that chain smoked 3 in a row next to me >_<
People started pushing forward even before CG went on, and by the time A&B were on, the middle of the room (under the green ball) was free of space and had a decent amount of dance floor space. It was pretty nice to have room to dance to A&B, I guess all the s just kept pushing forward and forward.
The only other thing that sucked is that the Insomniac/A+B Store was cash only and most everything sold out even before 9pm. I managed to snag a small sweatshirt, but it was more like a girls small @_@ Put it on, tried to trade it for a larger, and everything was gone :[
@ Henry / Insomniac - I was very pleased by how fast people picked up their presales, how fast both lines went, and security was orderly. When I was there at like 8, will call took... 15-25? and the line, even though the venue hadn't opened yet, took less than 20 also. The second time I went in line, there was, really, no line to get in, just for presales. By the time my friends got there at 9, the line was still short

It's hard for me to even put into words the amazing, incredible time I had at this event (once A&B came on.)
In all my years of going to parties - there are few times I was so overwhelmed that I was actually moved to tears.
Once was at Dune in 1997 and now… A&B TATW 350.
I watch the videos, and I get chills. Most especially "Satellite", “Thing Called Love”, and “On a Metropolis Day” – and when the confetti shot off at the peak of the Metropolis- OMG!
I am SO grateful for everyone that took videos of this and have posted them so I can save them forever.
There is no way in the world I will EVER miss another A&B party that visits the city I’m in.
