i've seen them twice already this year, and i wasn't that into their set at Sutra, however i want to go for a few reasons.
1) i love the venue
2) i'm sure there is going to be a good ratio.
3) super 8 & tab..i want to see them live.
4) i'm sure above & beyond will play a good set.
plus being part of tatw 350 is pretty cool imo. |

All I can say is that Groovetickets sucks. I'm in a course today and only have my iPhone to use. I could see the $30 ticket price this morning on my iPhone, but from past experience, I know that Groovetickets won't accept orders using my iPhone browser. So, undaunted, I called Groovetickets on my first break and got into this automated system. After saying "Above & Beyond," some seemingly random event came up and there was no other choice. Then I went back and said "Hollywood Paladiun" and was only given "Oakenfold" as the choice (please!!!!)...couldn't dial zero to speak with anyone either! I wound up calling a friend during lunch who logged into my Groovetickets account and bought two tix for me at $30 more!
But, I am going to see A&B! :crazy: |

| Groovetickets has bumped up the general admission price to $55. That's outrageous! I would have no qualms about paying $40-5, but from my perspective anything above $50 is highway robbery, unless it's a massive or for a Tiesto, Van Buuren, or Deadmau5 set. Groovetickets! I'll allow the promoters, the city of LA, and the Mexican drug cartels take everyone else's hard earned cash on this one. |

It costs about $30 in Atlanta just to see Above & Beyond at a normal, mediocre club. $45-$50 for someone like Armin at the same venue.
Considering that's what I'm used to, I'd drop $55 on the TATW 350 live show in a heartbeat. To be a part of a live broadcast and get to see A&B play a set they truly care about, not to mention Cosmic Gate, Super 8 & Tab, etc. To me it's a steal. That fact that I got mine for $30 is crazy, I didn't expect it to start that low.
I also didn't go to EDC or see them in OC, so this will be the first time I've seen them in over a year. |

Man... I was busy in the morning and planned to buy my ticket around 1pm. Around noon I started getting texts from friends about the ticket prices skyrocketing. By the time I got to my computer prices were at $58 after fees!
I sucked it up and bought the damn ticket, but it left me feeling a little bitter. I would have been totally fine with ticket prices starting at $50 and going up to $58, but knowing that I lost $28 by waiting four hours hurts a lot more.
Oh well... I will get to the event right when it opens to get my full money's worth. :D |
