Yup, said I'm definitely allergic to Decyl Glucoside, and possibly two other ingredients that the Dr. thought was just an outer rash due to the patch instead of the ingredient itself. (I actually don't believe him.)

[edit]....well this Tea Tree oil sure as hell got my face to stop itching so far...

Test must be wrong. I've seen those biceps, good genes right there.

On a serious note: just stick to what professionals say :o

I would REALLY love to do that right now actually. My esteem has plummeted back to when I was 14 and had acne covering 100% of my face.

Aw, Jake Benson, dont feel bad. If it makes you feel better, my acne got worse when I got into grad school (AH STRESS) and now Im on a regimen to control it. It happens to everyone and its totally natural. Whatevs!

Last time I went to the ER because I had this debilitation rash and was experiencing sharp neural pain, they misdiagnosed me with Herpes. Having the hunch that they were impetuous, I went to a cranky old meticulous Jewish Russian doctor who properly diagnosed me with shingles (yes, even more bizarre, but true story).

In the end, I realize a professional is not necessarily correct. :(

Gladly, these are pics taken of these bumps at various stages over the past several months. All of these bumps were completely gone within 1-3 of their current location in each picture.

If they weren't so large (although maybe it's just the pic size) I would say it looks like rosacea. However, I'm no expert. I only say that because I had it a couple times before and it looked like that, and it was also itchy. Cortisone cream got rid of it.

Did they rule that out already?

It could be acne...but the orange scabbing gives me the hint that it isn't. Either way (and sorry I have to bring this up only because it's painfully relevant) a gay guy with acne in his 20s is like a black guy with no legs trying to play basketball.

Singles IS herpes. Herpes zoster, to be exact. :p

You get it if you've ever been exposed to chicken pox.

Yes and that's different than Herpes Simplex A or B. Herpes Zoster is the Chicken Pox which almost everyone here got as a kid. Shingles it the resurgence of the Chicken Pox.

[edit] oh you already said that kinda my bad
Silky Johnson
You didn't answer my other post.

They didn't mention Rosacea. I don't think it is though because my nose is completely immune to whatever is on my face. And it's not red...just the bumps. But you know what...it DOES look pretty close to Rosacea.
Silky Johnson
Mine wasn't red, nor did I have it on my nose either. Wouldn't hurt to ask/try treatment for that.

I didn't even have to go to a dermatologist when I found out what it was. The doc at the clinic took one look at it and knew it was rosacea.

It's the pustules themselves that look like it to me. That's exactly how mine looked with that orangey fluid.
