So Jake, if it's rosacea and you get some topical steroids and it goes away....can I have gay sex with you? You won't even know I'm a chick, cause you'll be the one bent over. :tongue3

I'm no doctor, but to me it really looks like acne. at first you were saying that you had orange pus which made me :wtf: but I do remember back in my middle school days I had pretty bad acne and the scabs at times looked a lot like that.

I also remember whenever I had acne on my forehead and jaw bone it tended to be more big lumps similar to what you have, usually never even getting a whitehead.

are you forcing them to pop?

Trying not to. I'll scratch forgetting about them like in the middle of the night and then be like "oh " and as it turns from a red bump to a HUGE scab within an hour.

Desonide makes it go away 100% as long as I continue to apply. I hope it's not Rosacea. But yes if you find the culprit I'll let you still all of your dildos up my ass.

I also have my little conspiracy theory that there's doctors out there that just try and milk you out as much as they can. like in benson's case to just issue a antibiotic knowingly that it won't work, and say "alright here you go, hopefully this works, come back in 3 weeks so we can see how it's doing."

Yup. It almost goes perfectly with the "don't assume it's the worst case scenario" that doctors are taught. So they're like, "probably it's just benign and oh look there's something you can pay to cure it too!" In the end they're usually right and make money at the same time for pharmaceutical companies. But they usually end up wrong too often to make me feel like they're a trusted authority figure. I don't feel like they're proper empiricists.

Ros isn't orange. it's usually more red. but yeah other than that, i have no idea. :(

I disagree, the pus from rosacea most certainly is orange/yellow like in Jake's pics.

Desonide is a corticosteroid. Which is sometimes used to treat rosacea (corticosteroids). ;)

isn't rosacea more just a reddening of the skin? not actual welt-like pimples like what he has?

Typically, yes. But it *can* look like Jake's. I know, I had it.

Jenny could be partially right. Roseola is an eruption of small, closely aggregated patches of rose-red colour, cause by human herpesvirus type 6 and sometimes type 7.

Rosacea on the other hand is chronic with symptoms such as follicular dilation on the nose and cheeks, hyperplasia (increase in cells) of sebaceous glands (they release the oil on the skin), deep seated papules and pustules (blocks the pores off) and sebaceous glands (small dilated blood vessels). Commonly referred to as acne. Usually clears by 20 but can last until 30.

The problem is, neither of them quite match up. I've been sorting through my pathology text books as you can see above lol (I majored in infectious diseases) and a lot of it could be a sign of some type of herpes virus. The bigger problem? There's like an entire chapter dedicated to it because there's just so many possibilities.

Jake, have they tested the actual puss to see if it consists mainly of macrophages or other white blood cells? Could be a good diagnostic road to take for an experienced pathologist.
I really don't know why they don't just biopsy the skin.

In the mean time, take some Vitamin A. Meant to be good for acne and herpes viral infections.

EDIT - Also, it doesn't look anywhere near as bad from the photos as I had imagined.

definatley not mrsa. I had that on my leg and if i hadn't had it treated, i would have seen some bone in couple of weeks.

It could just be acne. I get some back rashes that pus like that sometimes. Did you check if anyone else in your family has it? it could be geneticallly linked.

Also, i did tea tree oil before. it's either tee trea oil or i do not itch when i am happy....meaning it's psychosomatic or my immune cells are attaking my skin. i am still a lil bit tipst efff why eye.
