I'm willing to bet you it's ing rosacea. The fact that that desonide is the only thing that clears it up is a good indicator, imo.
You could just try my advice. Wouldn't hurt. Go to a different doc, tell them you think you have rosacea, and ask for another script for a low dose topical corticosteroid. |
Seems like the best candidate, but it ALWAYS starts off as an itchy red bump, just like an allergic reaction, and scratching it always inflames it, creating an oozy orange center that later crusts over and sometimes leaves a scar (ing great). But yup, the Desonide works 100% of the time. If it's bacteria, virus, or fungus, wouldn't it have spread no matter what? Or can Desonide keep that in check too? |

Desonide is a steroid. As far as I know corticosteroids aren't prescribed for bacterial/viral/fungal infections. If it was a bacteria you would have been given an antibiotic, if it was a fungus you would have been given an anti-fungal. Using a corticosteroid to treat those things would make them worse - and it fact, is also contraindicated for treating rosacea for the same reason. However, in low doses (as with desonide) it is effective - and you may not see the exacerbating effects if it's only used for a short period of time (as I said, corticosteroids worked for me [I think I used betamethasone?]).
You also have to remember that people need to be assessed on a case by case basis. Just because you're not presenting with typical symptoms doesn't mean that's not what it is.
I could also be 100% wrong, lol. Just based on my own experience and the information you're giving here, it seems more likely than anything else. |

also, just from personal experience; but skin stuff doesn't cure overnight. i mean, sre if you have like one blackhead and you smear on a bottle of proactiv it'll get rid of it; but anything bigger than that, it takes time. you can't expect things to be done in 2-5 days. especialy from the size/color of what you're describing.
patience man. patience.
also, try Retin-A topical gel. |

So then I probably don't have Rosacea. Probably some kind of folliculitis due to who knows what.
Yes I am aware of case by case basis. I'm also aware of ty Beverly Hills doctors who overlook you with haste and just follow the trite regime of throwing your way without even studying you. |

No toobs boobs. It's been a week now. How is it that I throw the product away that contains something I'm allergic to and 5 days later I get these BRAND NEW giant bumps? That's not patience. That's Decyl Glucoside not being the culprit imo.
I should your Retin-A though. Do you use it? Does it make your face look lush and juicy like I want mine to look? |

But HPV stays in one place. These bumps on my face have a fleeting lifespan as their fixed location on average is 1-2 days. |

well, it's prescription, but it helps dry out the skin.
of course, i have no idea if it has the stuff you're allergic to is in it or not. but it's a deritive of Vitamin "A"; which is good for your skin. |

| also, for example, when i was on Accutane, it made my acne worse for a good 4-9 days...then cleared it up. of course, when i stopped using it, about a month later, everything came back. |
