really? how so? the way it is now, as soon as more than a couple of people gather the cops can bust it up and arrest everyone inside.

So unless u like things to be so underground that its just you and your immediate group of friends in someone's basement, you should be concerned.

Some underground parties are happening now. And a lot of them have gotten raided (of course this never makes the news)

There are underground parties happening that get raided however I haven't seen people getting arrested at them. (at least the ones I've been to). Mostly because it was on private (not public) property. The cops just came in, then left. Only time they kicked everyone out was due to noise complaints from people living on the top floor of a 2 story building when the party was happening on the main floor.

Both were at milkrun parties...good times, great people, great tunes. I look forward to more. (And in a private location where noise complaints won't happen as often if at all.) Like at the first one I went to at Carlaw and lakeshore.

Most "underground" parties I wouldn't even call underground parties. People plaster these parties all over facebook and then wonder how the police find out about them. I've been to a couple pretty successful underground parties in the last year or so but they have all been outside the 416

thats cool.. ive seen worse unfortunately. I think a healthy city has both a good commercially viable AND underground scene. And in many ways they feed off each other.

I dont advocate against either of them as they should all have a right to exist contrary to the whims and self interests of certain politicians.

The world is actually egg shaped...

And the sky isn't really blue. Its colour appearance depends on the atmospheric conditions at the time...

Restrictive laws tend to push creative boundaries.

good for you that you like police state mentality

would you like the city to tell you how to dress or what to eat too?

I wouldn't mind that....we might actually have a snazzy dressed city that eats health food.

China used to have a national dress code under Mao.

Saudi Arabia and Iran still do for the most part.

And im pretty sure their restrictive laws are GREAT for underground parties (until they catch you and hang you for crimes against the state!)
