+1, me and about 10 people had the worst Halloween because of this..

Heard about the news so I made a last minute scramble to get info on this Doojee party I heard about, ended up getting a ride there with like 8 people in the car lol.. My other friend just got there too, said it was small and there was nobody there. Then we heard about a party a few blocks up; we hadda buy tickets at one address, then walk 2 blocks away to the actual event... Tickets were $20, so I bought two for me and my girlfriend. We barely got in because they were at capacity, and once we did, it was a ty party; cool place, but music was horrible and not loud at all, weird Brooklyn hipster scene, wasn't feeling it all; I really think they're worse than guidos, sorry guys..

Then we decided to salvage the night and go to either Sullivan Room or this place called "Bamboo" that my friends' friends were at. We went to Bamboo, it was actually a sushi bar and they moved all the tables and set up a DJ booth and loud sound lol... DJ was playing hard tribal and Sound Factory Classics and the 50 people that were there were on so many drugs, it wasn't even funny. Some dude took his shirt off and rolled around on the ground doing snow angels and screaming at the top of his lungs while the DJ played The Horrorist's "One Night In New York City". Everyone I was with was creeped out, so we went home lol.. Worst Halloween ever, thanks NYPD...

I have to admit, I laughed hard at this, despite the terrible review. :stongue:

Sorry you guys had a bad time, though!! Terrible that one spends good money on gas/tolls/costumes/tix just for a piss-poor evening:( :( :(

all i gotta say, glad i procrastinated and followed my gut on this one...ended up going to Robot Heart which was absolutely <3<3<3LOVE!
Best production in a warehouse in Brooklyn EVER and surely wipes the floor with everyone else in this town...the Robot Heart folks know whats up and had an absolutely amazing venue, temperature regulated, CLEAN portable bathrooms with plenty of TP, SOUND WAS AMAZEEEEBALLLSSSS incredible! they decorated like no other party I've seen...jellyfish hanging from the ceiling, incredible lasers, incredible projections on the walls, totally synced with the music--top notch!
got there in time for Three, who was laying down the creepiest, most appropriately outta your mind set I've heard in ages...then Desyn Masiello showed up for the surprise closer and took us on a journey that included what would have been bits/highlights of all the DJs at Get Spooky and Wolf + Lamb combined!!
Sucks you guys had a ty night...I heard it was a nightmare when everyone got broken up and shut down, wandering the streets of Brooklyn with no where to go...
So happy Robot Heart kept it low profile and really secure--the way an underground party should be! One of my most favorite parties to date and def the best in NYC ever.

Huge epic fail. Came down from MA with +5 people and met up with people in the city to show up to a shutdown party. I want a damn refund.:whip: :whip:

Aw :( I feel so bad for you! Trust your TAs next time and log in when in doubt, I was home all night and got reports of everything all night long, lol, could've helped you there. The burners' party was by far the best choice last night, I sent rudeflame there when he called about Blk|Market and I'm sure he had a lot of fun, the burners can throw a damn good party.

And yes, BK hipsters are def worse than guidos, I absolutely agree.

Was Bamboo in Hells Kitchen? That's hilarious :haha:, although I'm sure it wasn't for you when your night was turning to ...
