| I'm with Gerard on this one. I think WMC is trying to go back to its roots. It's way too commercialized. Last time I went wasn't nearly as fun as years past. There was so much Ed Hardy being worn, it made me sick! haha Eitherway, if Sven is there, I'm there that weekend!!!! In 2007, Sven played in Mexico on WMC week!!!! That sucked! I really wanted to go see him in Mexico, but it would've been a lot more money than what I had. |

I doubt most of those DJs realize why WMC has been moved up. I am sure most will read Louis' letter and then get an understanding after that. Don't be shocked to see not much effect from it in 2011, but could change things for 2012.
And of course they are going to have this reaction. Because most of those DJs are probably largely booked up in MIami for that week. :p |

this is the case with 90% of cities in the US for most of the attendees(not just ed hardy wearing people)
big events like wmc, are "the place to be" so people will go for the sake of going.
vegas is probably the worst year round for attendees not knowing who the dj's are.
you saying the wmc crowd is similar to the vegas holiday weekend crowds?! ;) |

lol Not saying that, because in Vegas, there's a lot hot girls and they make up for it! lol WMC is mostly dudes. That's why I rarely go to Vegas! :stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
Nah, honestly, I could care less. Once i'm in my groove, I forget about everything else. Besides, most of those people are mainly at the big parties, which I try to avoid by all means! lol
When I first went to WMC in many years ago, everyone was really chill and it was mostly about the music, now it's not. :( Now that EDM has hit the mainstream here in the US, I have a feeling events will jack up their prices even more next year.
