It was so wonderful to see so many beautiful oldschool TA faces on Wednesday night. I know Jenna was smiling down on us. She always was so good at bringing people together.
Mike's strength and grace this past year has been truly inspiring. He shared with us that he let Jenna know before she passed that you were all thinking about her and sending your love out to her. And as Margs indicated you were all a part of the memorial on Wed. as your notes were placed throughout the room to share with family and friends. I am sure those words of hope and support contributed to the strength Mike demonstrated this past week and on wed. night.
I look forward to seeing everyone at the event on Jan. 22. And to sharing a 'fist and bicep pumping' dance with you all that is worthy of our girl, Jenna.

I recently heard this awful news and after a few Google searches, I found this forum.
I knew Jenna from a work association. I only knew her briefly, but I quickly realized that everything that I am reading here
was so true about her. She radiated happiness and joy all the time. She was the sweetest, kindest, fun loving person that I
think I have ever met. This news was like a stab to the heart.
There is great comfort in knowing that she is no longer enduring this disease and that she has moved on to a much better place
than this world. There is great comfort in the scriptures, for, after all, this is why the Bible exists, to give us hope for
life after this one. Here is one passage that speaks hope to me:
Jesus said to his disciples: "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than
enough room in my Father's home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?
When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am."
Jenna's passing has reminded us all of our own mortality. Today would have been her 31st birthday. But, instead, she is celebrating
her first one in heaven. I am going to be sure to look her up when I get there.
