| I know I'm new here but Jesus please calm down the rhetoric about which treatment is best or not. I assume nobody is donating money with the caveat that it should only be used for a certain treatment. If she is getting the money for her own treatment or in support of that treatment in the end she'll be the one to decide which is best for her (with whatever medical advice she seeks). I don't think this is the time or place to argue what should or shouldn't be done. I'm sure she's already getting lots of medical advice on this. |

This is terribly saddening. I was overcome such sadness while I read the blog last evening. I just cannot fathom what Jenna, her family, and her friends must be going through.
Reading these posts, you are all so blessed to have Jenna in your lives and that is just incredible.
There is a lot of this positivity, hope and support being shared amongst everyone; and this is what is needed most right now.
We need to do everything we can to fight the horrible big “C” and try save a beautiful life.

I get personally offended when ppl look to a being that wold in fact be responsible for the illness that the person had...
If such a being really existed...
I've known a few people who have been infected with cancer (it took my amazing Grandmother way too soon from me) and if god is real, then he is responsible...
I support Jenna and her fight but it's stupid to bring any gods into it... |

The fact that you get personally offended really surprises me. It has absolutely nothing to do with you. I believe in God, and I'm not here to defend my beliefs, or spirituality. If myself or AJ wanted to support Jenna or pass on some kind words using "God" then you, nor anyone else, should judge, it's our beliefs. I'm sorry what happened to your grandmother, but this is neither the time nor the place to be fighting over whether or not God (or a higher being) exists or not and I think that you and I both are big enough people to end this discussion in Jenna's thread and let it continue to be about positivity and support for Jenna, in whatever way people wish. |

I am not surprised at all where the negative post would come from.
We will all make up with our positive thoughts and prayers for a dear friend to many people on here. :) I wish and pray that all of you in your life get to meet a person like Jenna. There has never been and never will be a sweeter, kinder, positive and more caring person. It is a blessing to me to have the chance to know her and be her friend. |

There is also something that all of you should consider doing.
The Canadian One Match program is a database for stem cells. If you qualify to be a donor, they send you a swab kit and you send it back. It's all free and they will contact you if you are a match for anyone.
The more people in the database, the better chances people have of finding a match.
