UPDATES...
Fresh Entertainment Winterfresh Venue Announcement
On Friday December 3rd at 5pm the L.A. Center Studios breached their location rental contract with the Winterfresh Festival. Their reasoning was unjust and we were forced to not be able to host this event on their property.
We have been working non-stop to find a substitute venue where the artists can perform and we can accommodate all of their fans. It has been difficult, but we have found a solution;
The 2010 Winterfresh Music Festival has been extended to 2 days, both today Saturday December 4th and tomorrow Sunday December 5th.
The Event will be split up between 2 venues: the Hudson/Gotham and the ASU Fox Theater, both in San Bernardino.
Saturday's events will run from 2pm until 2am and Sundays events will run from 2pm until midnight, ALL AGES.
The talent will be divided between the 2 days and between the 2 venues to accommodate as many people as possible. However, some of the talent will only be performing on one day as opposed to the other.
Please choose which day you will attend, both Saturday and Sunday will be 1st come first serve and only available to ticket holders. There will be NO SALES at the door at either venue, on either days.
Fresh Squeezed Ticket holders and any guestlist/Comp tickets will ONLY be valid on SUNDAY.
Time slots and further details will be announced within the next few hours so everyone can plan accordingly.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to all of our fans.
Edit: Saturday's festival will take place at BOTH venues the Sunday festival will take place at BOTH venues time slots and who plays will be released VERY soon. Winterfresh ticket holders must choose one of the days to attend.
Sincerely,
Fresh Entertainment |

from a reliable source:
FRESH was under the impression that LACS was "private" property and therefore didnt need to notify the Los Angeles Police Department about the 15,000 people that were going to show up... This is what we were told by a Sgt. at LAPD... They also failed to obtain proper permits to hold a public assembly.. something else that needs to be signed off by LAPD... FRESH did the same thing in 2008 at the same location.. they ended up having to turn down the main sound to a whisper... |

So the artists are being split between the venues and playing at the same time, you pretty much have to choose one, and then you can only go one of the days? That would suck as an attendee.
They haven't made any mention of being able to get a refund? |

Exactly.. and there will be no refunds because Fresh doesn't technically have to give any money back since the event is still going on. I foresee Fresh disappearing after this disaster. |

Bye bye Fresh Entertainment it was nice knowing you. THIS is what happens when a promoter gets greedy and tries to throw an ALL AGES event in the middle of the streets in downtown LA. I know Tim personally and feel bad for him, but they ed up TWO TIMES in the past 6 months. Their reputation is RUINED and no body will buy tickets to their events, let alone booking agencies wont let them touch their artists lol.
edit: neither venues have alcohol permits, and to the guy above me, good luck getting in because i heard that the amount of people who are in line already exceeds the venue's capacity. |
ya all ages is ing dumb. I've been hearing about the venue's capacity thing...i was thinking of going there before Arnej's set to see what's up. If it's too crowded maybe i'll try Sunday but its still ing dumb. Oh well~ |

sigh..i have work the next day too although i have no problem calling sick or something. I wonder if we're allowed to jump back/forth Hudon and Fox though even if they're like 5 miles apart. |
