You can still go tomorrow. Dash is playing at 7 at the Hudson. I was suppose to go see Dash. I missed him in SF, glad I didn't but will get a chance to see him in vegas next weekend!! |

Here's some details that were posted on another board, where that poster in turn got it from somewhere else, so I dunno where it's originally from!

As of EDC, the city of LA has placed definitions to what and justifies as a "rave" and has placed several restrictions to how a rave should be conducted and operated. One of such restrictions in this new ordinance is the enforcement of the 18+ rule.
Because Fresh Entertainment were promoting the event as an all ages event, forced the city to enact and revoke their permits under the cause that this is was a "rave" and not just a music festival. If the event were to continue with the minors on premise, they would have been forced to end the event at 10 PM. Because this event was projected to have an attendance roster which is composed of 50% minors, the Fresh promotion group (regardless of revoked permits) would had to have canceled. So far the Fresh group is projecting to lose $500,000 if the event does not take hold at a different location. Promoters will most likely go unpaid and not be reimbursed if the event does not take place.
After driving by and inspecting the location, the stage is amazing. If this event happened, it would have truly been amazing.
I love Fresh event and it hurts me to see this happen. But hopefully they can rebound back soon, they've been a bright light in the medium sized massive scene and I hope this tremendous back fall wont keep them out of the game.. |

Was it a mess inside since it looks like you treked out there and made it in?
I was thinking about going tonight but not trying to deal with the heavy crowds and possible riot police. Sunday should be more chill. |

| Nah I didn't go, a friend of mine played there yesterday. It's his picture. But it's probably going to be equally as packed today. A ton of people didn't make it in yesterday. |
