I don't think any of the albums he listed are bad. Especially given I listed two of those artists myself. I just find it hilarious when trancecrackers divide the genre into endless little pockets to try and make their tastes look more diverse. Kay-D and Timewave make almost identical music, to divide one into trance and the other into prog is ludicrous.
Lol, yeah i can see that one.

Point taken, still Kay-D uses more subtle interwoven melodies whereas Timewave uses them as leads more often than not. But you are still right.

And yeah, I am a trancecracker most of the time. But that doesn't mean I am going to bust out the glowsticks, reach for the lasers, and pump my fist to the plucking melody of an Above & Beyond or ATB track... :D

Great pick, that's one of my favorites of the year, too. I especially loved the first disk, slowing down prog to druggy nu-disco tempos was absolute genius. The CD plodded along in some parts but definitely ended on a high note, and I liked it better than his last few Renaissance releases.

Yeah, like.. who would do that?

Let's be more self-conscious people, just nod your heads and act pretentious! Yeah! We're intellectually stimulated, not high on drugs.

Woah man don't get me wrong, I meant fist pumping with the glowsticks to the plucking melody of Alone Tonight by Above & Beyond while jumping up and down.

Nothing wrong with glowsticks and drugs :D

I've been trying to catch up on everything I missed in 2010 for this list, and it's a task that just keeps growing and growing.

I finally got the Echospace album through the post this morning and I thought my list was taking its final shape. By the time the album had finished I'd made a list of 20 more albums I needed to check out. It feels like I'm not going to hear any new music in 2011, I'll just spend the whole time catching up on 2010.

Great list, by the way. Nice and varied with lots of albums I've been loving myself.

So many albums to catch up on, so little money. This thread is definitely helping me find a bunch of stuff I missed out on, though. Some real gems came out this year.
