So I retract my earlier statement about Danny Howells being the most disappointing deejay of the year. Nic Fanciulli definately takes the prize. I can't remember the last time I left a club before 3 am. It was even more intolerable, in fact, REVOLTING!! I thought I had experienced a bad Fanciulli set at FW, but it ain't got nothing on this set. The only good track of the night was Definitions.... I should have listened to Eyean and gone to see Damian Lazarus! Bah! Grr!!! :mad: :whip: |

I don't know if it's about open minded ness or expecting the dj to play a certain style and he plays the complete opposite of what you were expecting. (and are unpleasantly surprised by it).
It's probably why I stopped going to certain djs, as a result of the above.

Also, I try not to show up with expectations at all which is ok but if I go to see a dj who plays electronic music and all I hear is top for crap I think I may be a bit annoyed by it. (as in every song/majority) |

I wasn't there, so I cannot comment on what Nic played, but who cares if someone gives a bad review b/c they didn't like what was played that night? Not everyone is going to like the music every time - even if they're fans of the DJ. I'm not a fan of every set that Sasha or Ferry spin.
I'd much rather hear a bad review every once in awhile than a bunch of ball licking where EVERY review on TOTA of EVERY party of EVERY DJ was "OMG THE BEST NIGHT I'VE EVER HAD!" I found that we were getting a lot of that at one point. |

Yes we were getting a lot of that sometime...quality control was lost at that point. It's coming back though. :thepirate |
