| nice, much more minimalistic techno stuff here my friend! I like the sounds you chose. I like the way it sounds, very tidy!, Il work maybe a litle more on the "drop" sound percusion that drives the song. Something is missing but I dunno what.. |

| Hey, not sure what you're trying to do with the main bass instrument but it's FAR TOO loud. I'm wondering what it'd even sound like if it was playing at the same time as everything else. Sorry this and my last reply were a little harsh, but seriously, lower the volume! |

Cheers for the feed. I would agree it is louder than usual but I A'B' it hundreds of times against current top downloads and the tracks I was testing against had really super loud low bass, so I went with that style.
I can't hear the bottom end on my monitors well, so I'll see how the comments go. |

Thanks Mise - could you just clarify which bit you think needs work?
EDIT - NEXT DAY - Mise, Nem has added mid bass and counter melo - I think the drive is there now as the track proceeds? |

nice intro... sexy vocal... love the off-time delay. very nice. i like the pan on the crash, but it's a bit too far left. in a club, it won't make it seem more "left", the volume will actually decrease so you won't be able to hear the crash unless it's panned more center.
I feel like 1:32, when that bass edit comes in, pragmatically EQ it a tiny, tiny bit, and it will fit better in the mix. The over all quality of the track is great, but that little bit could use a bit of mustering into the mix, maybe tweak it a little? I could be sonically wrong so get other feedback on that bit. The track itself has superb movement and mixdown.
Very spacey, wide groove. I would probably unleash all my best dance moves at a party if I heard this :)
After breakdown: YUUUUP. Good job man. I like how you keep certain elements in the mix center in the pan, and some of the other elements are very wide, the image is pretty good dude. If it sounds this good on SC, I just have to hear the 320k. |

Excellent detailed feedback mate - just what we need.
Will make some crashes more central for the reason you suggest.
Nemessis44 added the driving mid bass you refer to - in his own DAW to my master, so he will be sending me the lane so I can 'stitch' it in but I think he's made a massive difference to the track by adding that plus the counter lead in the last break and drop.
EDIT > actualy reading back I think you mean the little bassey synth cuts that appear twice in intro and yep I had not had time to sit them properly yet but am onto them.
I've not collaborated before, but for me 2 heads are better than 1!
Glad it kept your'e interest.
I'm trying to work out what distortion Atlantis is referring too? We deliberately add distortion to bass etc for the 'Dirtbox Diva's' sound. |

Cheers mate
We need to give this a final polish and it has NO MASTERING, just through a free limiter right now.
I'm thinking the distortion maybe down to the quick slapped on limiter - but I don't know unitl I go back in.
Some sweeps I think are a little loud. The bass I'm kinda liking overloud but need to test it on systems and welcvome further feedback on this. |

You could pull that mid bass up even more, for that kind of in your face moment before the beat drops.
I like that mid bass a lot.
That vocal sample sounds like you just kind of randomly placed it in the track.
You could put in the first drop, right before the song kicks back in.
"You think I am funny?" -> Beat drops.
As an extra added bonus it'll be easier to fit in the mix.
If you want to get extra added mileage to it, you want to add that vocal sample before every drop. Because then it acts as an anticipatory device that will cue the dancers of when the drop is coming. |
