No trading please, guys. There is no point in randomly assigning genres if people start trading to get something they like better.

Yes, there is. There was this one sick youtube channel with lots of oldschool hardtrance-ish Hardstyle tracks but I forget the name :(

This is how it should sound for me, even though the late 90s stuff is often more hardtrance-ish. The very early stuff obviously sounds like gabba/hardcore.

Rodri Santos
as a guideline i'd prefer that you stick to the more melodic and trancey side of hardstyle instead of the dirty bassline hardstyle that is common now (i have listened to a set of qlimax 2010 and this genre has gone downhill too) seeing your comments i think you'd prefer this too so both happy.

Really ty tune. And there IS a random fag speaking in a dark voice in the track. Seriously. Is there any hardstyle without those idiots speaking in the tracks? How serious can it be when you hear "I AM YOUR BASS INSTRUCTOR!" in every damn track.

Why does Hardstyle have to be serious?

It's Hard so it gotta be rock hard serious!
Rodri Santos
Although Hardstyle possibly was considered but a lot of you an easy genre it is not that easy, i am not a huge fan of this, just have a select bunch of songs in my collection but most of the tracks you'll find will have the same snare rolls, pounding kicks and triplets.

I can expand a bit the net, you can introduce some hardcore if it is easier for you since nobody picked it and both are around the same bpms.

Something like:

I don't know much about psytrance, but it's a fairly easy genre to research and it's one I don't mind... so this should be interesting.

Hehe... UK Garage is a genre I've never even heard about so I guess I have to do quite a bit of research. My mix probably will be short though since I dont own atm a single UK garage record and can't afford to buy a lot of things. :) Dont expect beauties :p

Vocal house eh...

...Okie dokies - Expect a "Name me some tracks" thread :)

. Unlucky Pozz lol

Sigh. Am I EVER going to get a genre I hardly ever play in these challenges? That said, I've not made an ambient set for quite a while now, so at least I can get back into that.
