Nolan really doesn't deserve best director, imo, so I'm not upset he didn't get nominated. Also, I'll be really pissed off if Social Network wins anything important.
My choices:
Colin Firth for best actor, Geoffrey Rush for best supporting, Natalie Portman for best actress, the little girl from True Grit for best supporting, King's Speech for best picture. |

It annoys me that Ive only seen 5/10 of the Best Picture noms. Is it me or are there more and more movies nominated every year? |
It's you. Two years ago they went from five to ten...that was the only change in 82 years :p |

It's about King Henry becoming king of England during WW2 and having to overcome his stutter. I know it sounds really lame but it's actually really good. It's more about the relationship between King Henry and the doctor that helps him, but that's the time period that it takes place in. |

Huh?
Kings Speech was without a doubt best movie I saw this year. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. |

Thumbs up.
This year has been particularly e for films. Had to delve back into the past for anything decent. |

| So who's seen True Grit? I haven't caught it yet, but I'm a huge Coen Brothers fan. |

I can't think of a movie they've made that I didn't like, so I figured it was pretty safe :p
Does it have John Turturro in it? He's in nearly all their films :stongue: ing legend. |
