| Toy Story 3? Really? |

| I found The King's Speech to be very dry, but then again I don't generally like movies about monarchy for that very reason. |

I've never watched anything from that Toy Story series.
Not very good, I presume? |

My sentiments exactly. How can it get nominated for best picture AND best animated picture?
Anyone else totally shocked that Banksy's movie is up there? Totally awesome imo. By the way, you can watch the entire Exit Through The Gift Shop on Hulu :) |

I absolutely love Colin Firth and every role he has played (excluding the father in that stupid teen movie)
I really hope he gets best actor |

Colin Firth should win for best actor...
I haven't seen Biutiful, but I've been dying to. Maybe I'll change my mind after seeing Bardem.
And Bas- agreed, Exit Through The Gift Shop was really enjoyable. I think Restrepo or Inside Job are the more likely winners though.
I'll be kind of disappointed if Social Network takes home any major award.
I wish Winter's Bone stood a chance to win best picture - might actually be my favorite one listed...that or True Grit perhaps. |

I've never seen the sequels, just the first one, so I of course have no idea whether Toy Story 3 is good. If it was anything like the first one, though, it's kind of an insult to the other movies. Don't get me wrong, the first one was a very good, but simply belongs in the best animated film category because there is no way it's on the same level of thought or significance its contenders address. But I am ignorant, so I could be very, very wrong.
I liked Wall-E quite a bit. |

Obviously these awards are just one big hollywood circlejerk and a huge joke, but if Natalie Portman doesn't win it'll just be ridiculous.
Also, Inception blows.
And so does that fagbook movie. |

Anyone else surprised Meat even liked Black Swan?
The only thing he seems to hate more than Hollywood films is not listening to Eurodance for a whole day. :o :o |

It's called taste. You might have heard of it. :o
And I wouldn't hate on Hollywood if they'd put out more than a handful of decent films per year. But they don't. |
