one of the best movies i've seen in a while. Such ing class and incredible talent from every single actor in the movie.
I have to mention, what an amazing part by Geoffrey Rush, goddamn, I REALLY hope he gets an oscar for that supporting role.
For those that haven't seen it i suggest spending a few bucks, it's still in the theaters, well worth it. |

I can understand why some people would not like it because it is pretty dry. I also think you don't get the full appreciation for the movie without knowing the historical events mentioned in the film.
But acting! It's a movie that actually relies on great acting in order to pull it off. Instead of sex or violence or special effects that is the staple of 'good' movies nowadays. Good to see a movie with solid acting all around for a change.
And it's an inspiring story of a man who overcomes his deficiency in order to do his duty.

Colin Firth should definitely win the oscar this year.
Loved Geoffry Rush but Christian Bale needs to win the best supporting actor. |

I will see how he does in the fighter tomorrow when I watch it but for now I hope Jeremy Renner gets it for "The Town", he rocked in that... |

I bet you will be converted. I was in awe the entire time.
I do think Jeremy Renner was one of the only good parts about the Town though. ;) |
