Lira you realize that keeping countries like yours down is part of the plan right? If you want to rise above it don't expect developed countries to really give you a helping hand. Yea we will help the really starving people in Africa, but they will never be a thread to us.
You guys gotta take after China man, ing get up on your own two feet, even with the developed, north-western part of the globe trying to you over at every step. |

"The plan"? Stoners can barely repel a stupid law, let alone devise a plan to keep the world's 7th biggest economy down! :conf:
Or are you really saying that this is all a meticulously planned consequence that the developed countries somehow foresaw in the war on drugs so they could keep the upper hand in international politics? |

No, lol, I am saying that the plan is to let this sorta thing happen. The war on drugs is nothing but a boondoggle and a way to give foreign aid to countries that might support us in fending off other countries that are not so friendly to us. Look at Colombia, better its military and it keeps Panama and Venezuela in check as well as its other neighbors, and the war on drugs is a good excuse to give them money for their military.
Not fully cracking down on other countries or ignoring the issue altogether lets them swelter in their own problems and not gain the momentum to get further than they are.
Its not some masterfully crafted plan, just par for the course handling of things. |

I'm well aware of the problems of capitalism in general and I can only do so much.

It's not Kaka, that also means "crap" in Portuguese, it's Kaká :stongue:
(Incidentally "Pele" means "skin" in Portuguese... the name you want is Pelé :D)

Let me give you the benefit of doubt and say that's why it's going on. Does it make the purchase of Latin American drugs any less wrong?
I'm not saying the US must change its law, because that's unlikely to happen. What I'm saying is that as a drug user, you might want to help improve the situation (by not making it any worse). |
