Lots of people say the same thing about the 800.. Can't say I agree with them.

Not just yet.... I'm saving up to get some CDJ 2000's & some powered speakers. I get a lot of people asking me if I do mobile and I always turn them down. I think it's time for me to say yes and make some extra cash on the side.

| Received my NI Traktor S4 and new PIO headphones yesterday together with the traktor flightcase, submitted for the scratch upgrade this morning, will probably get that in the post by the weekend |

Thats cool, on the nexus theres a cool feature called EQ curve where you can set it to a full kill of 00 db or -26db which is awesome. On the plus side are the effects which are so many.
The good thing is that traktor built inside, no other sound card needed, full digital signal path which even ups the quality man. |

Exactly. I don't think the nexus will sound any better than the 800, which was very average at best, but downright horrible when even edging in to the red or with incorrect gain staging.
We'll wait to see but Pioneer do not have a good track record in this department. Bells & Whistles, yes, Sound and build quality, No. |
