Up through the bottom of the jaw or roof of the mouth is better. There have been cases where people tried to do it your way and the recoil from the gun (esp a more high-powered pistol) caused them to not fire directly horizontally, but skim the skull going upwards, and thus obviously not damaging the brain. |

Actually, that's a pretty sucky way to go. First of all, there's no reason why you should make anyone in the train witness your death (and make the responsible feel guilty about it). Also, depending on the use of the railway track, you may cause a delay that may be a bit of a nuisance to a bunch of people that have nothing to do with the end of your life. |
