You clearly don't know what you're talking about, other than knowing what exponential growth is (which anyone who got past 7th grade should know). You've yet to provide any real theories as to why exponential growth would have any impact on the year 2012, specifically, and you haven't given any reason to believe that exponential growth would have anything at all to do with the world ending, even if it does (which it won't) in 2012.
Apparently you know something that every other scientist in the world doesn't, though, so cheers to you Einstein. |

| GUISE, I just crunched that the American obesity epidemic is increasing at an exponential rate given the supply of hostess' delicious Ding Dongs product. By the year 2029 the rate of consumption will have doubled from the last 2 decades, thereby eliminating the entire worlds' supply of Ding Dongs by 2030. The crisis of our generation is impending because I applied an arbitrary formula to frankly irrelevant data! There are no extraneous variables! |

So if I tell you that our population is growing at x% a year, you will tell me that equation doesn't include external factors?

Okay - let me spell this out for you cause you are clearly clueless.
1) If the world is to end in 2012 it will be due to the rate at which we consume , grow , and destroy
2) All these factors are growing exponentially
3) When something grows exponentially - the amount it grows in the final year , minute, or second is greater or equal to the combined previous minutes years or seconds.
4) I never said I beleive or dont believe in 2012. |
